Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-12

This policy explains how WEST COAST (GLASGOW) LIMITED("RideForge", "we") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use https://westcoastglas.shop. RideForge is an online-only digital subscription studio for ride planning and build visualization. We do not sell physical goods, parts or repair services.

Who is responsible (data controller)

The data controller is WEST COAST (GLASGOW) LIMITED, 8 Mossland Drive Hillington Park, G52 4FA, Scotland. Privacy questions and requests: support@westcoastglas.shop, +44 7205894237.

What we collect

  • Account data: name, email address and authentication identifiers.
  • Subscription and billing data: plan, billing country, and payment status. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor; RideForge never receives or stores full card numbers.
  • Studio inputs: the ride, build and maintenance briefs you type, picker selections, and any reference images or example photos you choose to upload.
  • Generated results: route plans, checklists, build renders, posters, step cards and reveal videos created from your inputs.
  • Support data: messages and lead-form details you send us.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and essential cookie/session identifiers.

Collection sources

We collect data directly from you (forms, studio inputs, uploads), automatically from your device (essential cookies and logs), and from our payment processor (subscription status, never full card data).

Why we use it and legal bases

  • To provide the studio and generate your results — performance of our contract with you.
  • To take payment and manage subscriptions — performance of contract and legal obligation.
  • To secure the service and prevent abuse — our legitimate interests.
  • To answer support and respond to rights requests — contract and legal obligation.
  • To send service messages — contract; any optional marketing is sent only with your consent, withdrawable at any time.

AI data handling: user input, generated results, uploads and example data

  • User input: the ride, build and maintenance briefs and picker selections you type are processed by our AI provider only to produce the result you request.
  • Generated results: route plans, checklists, renders, posters, step cards and videos are stored with your account so you can revisit and export them.
  • Uploads and example data: reference images and example photos you upload are sent to the AI provider solely to generate output and are cached only as needed, then cleared on a rolling 30-day cycle.
  • We do not use your user input, uploads or generated results to train AI models.
  • You can ask us to delete your user input and results at any time via the contact channel below.

Payment provider boundary

Payments are processed by Stripe. You enter card details on Stripe's secure infrastructure. RideForge receives only the information needed to manage your subscription (such as status and the last four digits where provided) and never the full card number, CVC or PIN.

Who we share it with (third-party processors)

  • Hosting and delivery: our cloud hosting and content-delivery provider.
  • Payments: Stripe, for checkout, subscriptions and billing.
  • AI provider: our image and video generation provider, which processes your user input prompt and any reference image solely to return your result.
  • Email and support tooling used to reply to you.

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

  • Account and subscription records: for the life of your account and as required for tax and accounting after closure.
  • Studio uploads and cached reference data: cleared on a rolling 30-day cycle.
  • Support messages: kept only as long as needed to resolve and evidence the matter.

Your rights (UK GDPR / EU GDPR / CCPA)

  • Access, correct, delete or export your personal data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
  • For California residents: know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale/sharing — we do not sell or share your data.
  • You will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.

To exercise any right, email support@westcoastglas.shop. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Do Not Sell or Share

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. No opt-out is required, but you may still contact us with any preference.

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies for sign-in and security. See the Cookie Policy for detail and choices.

Automated decisions and children

We do not make solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you. RideForge is not intended for children under 13, and users aged 13-17 must have verifiable consent from a parent or guardian.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege handling of keys and secrets. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and regulators of qualifying incidents as required.

Complaints and contact

Contact us first at support@westcoastglas.shop. UK/EU users may also complain to their data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office). Governing law: England and Wales.
